Motivations and Objectives

The survey focuses on the female domestic household help in and around Santosh Nagar, Mumbai. • Motivation: o Soil our trousers o Our perceptions- unhygienic sanitations levels, inadequate health facilities, low education levels, poor financial access o The OPHI framework • Objective: o To understand their present living and working conditions o To analyze their capabilities and freedoms o Compare the status of these workers in organized and unorganized sectors
