Abstract

This paper is interested to study the origins, evolution and perspectives of the Journal of Policy Modeling (JPM). This top journal in policy modeling for long time makes a remarkable contribution by propose different focuses, methodologies and models for the policy modeling research field. Basically, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the trajectory of this prestigious journal in the last 32 years by using all volumes of this journal from 1979 until 2011. It is to analyze the research focus and modeling approach according to our forty five variables proposed in our model.
