Abstract

This paper asserts that economic integration is essential for the development of Africa, but the model of integration adopted by developed countries cannot be applied to the current conditions of Africa. We analyzed problems of regional integration in developing countries, and we developed a theoretical mixed integration model that deals with the creation of prerequisites and the realization of the integration of the markets, and responds specifically to the needs of Africa. We analyzed the relevance of classical models of integration to African economies, and suggested an alternative model that takes into considerations African Issues.
