Abstract
The term Demographic Dividend occurs to a particular country when falling birthrates changes the age structure which further reduces the required investments in the Human Capital. Here we have tried to provide possible theory which can work for the Demographic Dividend for the state like Gujarat. I have also suggested policy action required to take advantage of Demographic Dividend in Gujarat State. Gujarat is the state where there are cities like Surat which accommodates highest number of Young People. Thus this paper in a way provides the possible areas where there is an urgent need to undertake exercises to work out Demographic Dividend at State Level as well as Country level aggregate.
