Abstract

This paper examines recent developments in African Union law and policy regarding the environment, energy, and natural resources. It focuses on developments during the year 2020. The organs of the African continental organization of interest here are the principal bodies. In this regard, the first part presents the various aspects of environmental law and policy that were central to the work of the conference. The second part, on the other hand, deals with the decisions of the executive council.
